Estimates
Estimates are on a case-by-case basis. Every hive removal is unique and has its own challenges involved. A thorough inspection using technology such as a thermal imaging camara is used to assess your unique situation and determine a fair estimate.
All estimates are worst-case scenario estimates. Your actual bill could be less but will never be more. Hive removal will not start without an agreement.
Example
In a wall...
Bees have been found inside walls, exterior walls, attics and everywhere in between.
If cutting into walls, ceilings or floors is required, you will need to obtain a separate estimate from a carpenter or other professional to repair the opening made for hive removal.
We will only neatly open as much as we have to for access and removal of the hive
Example
In a tree...
Bees in a tree on your property is another common occurrence.
Major factors here are height and if the tree needs to be cut into or taken down. A swarm on the outside would not require cutting but if the bees have taken up residence in the tree it may need to be cut into.
Permits may be required under some circumstances.
Example
Weird places...
Bees can also decide to make a home in strange places.
A shed, a BBQ grill, even your car, etc.… Each situation can be evaluated and a strategy can be devised to remove them.
FAQ:
Q: Do you remove other insects besides bees
A: On a case-by-case basis I may be able to remove and humanely dispose of non-honeybee insects, like yellow jackets or wasps. No poison will be used. Disposal would be by Co2 method using dry ice.
Q: Do we repair the opening made to remove the hive?
A: Not currently. A separate professional would need to be coordinated by the customer.

Keep scrolling to learn about a future Bee Sanctuary & Education Center
A Bee Sanctuary and education center sounds a little odd, I know. This idea came to me when I was contemplating what I wanted to do with my life. After retiring from the military and becoming a hobby bee keeper, I thought about changing careers, and trying to make a living doing something I love. A new career in a bee keeping and hive removal business sounded fun and exciting.
I want to do more then sell honey and beeswax products. I would like to do more to educate people about bees in a fun and safe way. Show my passion and joy to the public. When I was stationed at Scott AFB in Illinois I visited a beautiful Butterfly house in St. Louis at the Missouri Botanical Garden. My kids loved it and we learned a lot about butterflies that day.
I want to apply that concept to bees but with modifications because of the obvious safety concerns. Let me be clear, the plan is to have a degree of separation between the humans and bees, for the safety of the humans and bees. Using glassed in walkways, like an aquarium, through a beautiful garden dome type green house building. as well as plexiglass window observation hives. adding in other pollinators like butterflies to round out the experience. The possibilities are only limited by the imagination.
